After getting a Master’s degree in both Oriental Languages & Cultures and Conflict & Development, Anke went back to school halfway through her 30s to finally study what she’s truly passionate about: Environmental Science. Fascinated by urban green infrastructure, rewilding and aquatic ecology, she started writing articles for EOS Blogs and Frontaal on a voluntary basis. Along the way she found her true calling in marine ecology and science communication, which led to an internship at EMSEA, where she’s the author of the blog series ‘Meet the members’.
