The Black Sea Literacy Group is the EMSEA (European Marine Science Educators Association) regional group for the Black Sea, established in 2022 within the framework of the Bridge-BS project — a Horizon 2020 research and innovation initiative focused on advancing Black Sea science, education, innovation, and sustainable blue growth.
This initiative builds on the recognition that while many ocean education activities already exist in the region, they often remain fragmented and undocumented — limiting opportunities for shared learning and cooperation.
