SEAQUEST

SEAQUEST is an innovative project dedicated to enhancing seagrass literacy in primary education across Europe. It aims to bridge the gap in environmental awareness through research, interactive technology, and hands-on learning. By developing an AI-powered educational game, a comprehensive educational toolkit, and teacher training programs, SEAQUEST equips educators with the tools to inspire the next generation of ocean stewards. With a collaborative, future-oriented approach, the project fosters oceanic citizenship, ensuring children understand and appreciate the vital role of seagrasses in marine ecosystems.

Developed by The Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH) in collaboration with The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), EMSEA, STANDO LTD, Aalborg University - Multisensory Experience Lab, and The Centre of Marine Sciences of the Algarve (CCMAR), the project combines research, interactive technology, and hands-on learning to bridge the gap in environmental awareness.
