Join Us in Shaping Seagrass Literacy
SEAQUEST (Seagrass Education for children towards Awareness QUotient for Environmental Sustainability) is an EU-funded project focused on strengthening seagrass literacy in primary education. The initiative aims to inspire environmental responsibility in young learners while supporting global marine conservation goals.
Through a combination of research, resource development, teacher training, interactive technologies, and community engagement, SEAQUEST promotes ocean literacy and highlights the critical role seagrasses play in marine ecosystems.
As part of the SEAQUEST project, we are conducting three online surveys to better understand how seagrass ecosystems are currently being integrated into education across Europe.
We invite participation from the following groups:
Primary School Teachers
Teacher Educators / VET Trainers
Higher Education Lecturers & Researchers
Your insights will help us:
Identify gaps in knowledge and training
Develop effective educational resources and digital tools
Strengthen marine literacy in primary education
