As the Ocean Literacy concept marks its 20th anniversary this year, and EMSEA proudly celebrates 11 years of advancing Ocean Literacy in Europe and beyond, we are thrilled to announce the planning of our 10th annual conference. The event is scheduled to take place in Zadar, Croatia, from September 23rd to 26th.

Throughout the years, we have witnessed the remarkable growth and widespread adoption of Ocean Literacy across Europe, engaging diverse sectors, and stakeholders, and even reaching policymakers and governments. This expansive reach aligns with EMSEA's core mission. As the Ocean Literacy landscape continues to evolve, touching more sectors and engaging diverse stakeholders, we are dedicated to ensuring that our conferences remain both relevant and inclusive of all current Ocean Literacy initiatives and approaches.
 

In this spirit, we are reaching out to you, valued Ocean Literacy professionals, to gather your insights on session themes for our upcoming conference. Your perspective is invaluable in shaping a program that reflects the current landscape of Ocean Literacy. We invite you to share your thoughts on which sessions you find most relevant and suggest any new topics that should be included in our conference.
